Schulz tables
Schulz tablesSchulz tables are exercises for Peripheral vision expanding. I would recommend starting with 3x3 size table and after you feel comfortable to get on 4x4, 5x5. Also I would recommend using font size 26 - 30. Table size is not adjustable and that is very uncomfortable. The main goal of this exercise is to expand your peripheral vision. No matter how many numbers there are in the table, no matter how big or small they are, the most important thing is to have adjustable table size. We read different books some of them are small format with 8-10 cm width text line, others are medium format with 10-14 cm width text line. The rest are large format 14 cm and more. So the same should be with Schulz tables. It supposed to be small, medium and large according to what size books you read the most often. The efficiency is not in the numbers quantity, but in the table size. The time spend on exercise is also not as important. Its adjustable so set show time on 300 and take as much time as you need to preview one table. Don’t rush. As you will get better your speed will naturally improve. So what amount of practice and time is needed to get results? Do 50 tables a day 5x5 font size 26-30 and after 10-14 days you will get yourself into real good shape.

I would recommend fixating the time you spend on all 50 tables in the beginning of training and after few work outs. You supposed to decrease time for all table review for about 25% – 50%. If for the first few days you’ll spend about 40 – 50 minutes, so after 14 days training you should complete work out in 20 – 35 minutes. Anticipation improvement
Erased lettersThere are 4 really good exercises for anticipation training: reading from right to left, accidentally erased letters, blanks at the text, mixed letters and without vowel letters.  I would like to emphasize that not many authors or software developers pays attention to anticipation. Anticipation is the ability to guess text meaning.



Metronome

Metronome is used for articulation repression, but for some people it might be very disturbing. For some people it might work. Because in this case you concentrate into one disturber instead of street noise, cell phone ringing, radio playing and various non-related to reading minds.

Corner reading
Corner readingFrom both sides of the central line two digits are flashing. I supposed to remember them and to type them. If result is right the program spreads the distance between the digits. If the answer is wrong the distance decreases.

In the right upper corner parameters of the training is displayed: amount of the executed tasks and current distance between the digits. User can do following settings: adjust distance between the digits, set time for showing the digits, amount of digits in task. The program is designed for extension of the vision corner. People with wider visual corner read faster. While executing exercise try to analyze your sensations. What happens with your eyes? How do you recognize the digits? Does the changes sharpness your vision? This exercise is good reaction and anticipation training. I started with 5 numbers on each side. Later increased to 8 numbers.
